A Little About Me

Hi! My name is Scarlett Patton, and I am a senior Public Health student at Georgia College & State University. During my time at GCSU, I have developed a passion for community outreach and behavioral health through hands-on community engagement and service.
I have been honored to receive both the CHSI Community Service Medallion and the Savoie Service Award from the Public Health Student Organization for my commitment to community service. Through my work with the Center for Health and Social Issues, I organized community outreach events, including a lung cancer awareness table.
As part of the Double Bobcat program, I took graduate-level courses during my undergraduate studies, which prepared me for my next step: pursuing my Master of Science in Human and Health Promotion with a concentration in Health Promotion at GCSU. I am passionate about making a positive impact in community and behavioral health.
